Connects Workshop: A hands-on introduction to using GlobalNOC APIs

Presenters: Ben Geels, acting manager, monitoring, information, and infrastructure; and Nikhil Kappagantula, systems and software engineer

During this hands-on coding workshop, GlobalNOC engineers will lead a coding session in Python to interact with GlobalNOC web services. Participants should come prepared with some prerequisites, which will be provided in advance.

Connects Workshop: SNAPP—visualizing time-series data and creating your own custom dashboards

Presenters: Dan Doyle, GlobalNOC manager of network data collection and analysis, and Aryan Deora, systems and software engineer

This hands-on workshop will show how to design and create a dashboard in the GlobalNOC-run Grafana environments using data from TSDS and the GlobalNOC database. This assumes no prior knowledge of how this dashboarding system works and will start with the basics before layering on more advanced topics.
